
Flowers/Grounds: Members assist in the maintenance of the church grounds on a work day in the spring and are welcome to assist throughout the year. Contact CONNIE SCHIRMER to volunteer to help on a regular basis.
Meal Ministries: Meals prepared by parish members are provided when there is a death in a family. Contact CONNIE SCHIRMER to indicate your willingness to assist when needed.
Youth: Meals are provided to the Youth Group on a monthly basis. Sign-up sheets indicating the dates meals are needed are publicized in September. Contact Susan Lindblom if you would like to participate in this ministry.
Newsletter: St. Paul’s newsletter, “The Red Door Chronicle”, is published monthly except in July. Persons wishing to contribute articles may send them via email. preferably as an attachment in Word format or bring them in electronic or paper format to the office. Contact the editor, BETTY BESS, for suggestions or to assist with the newsletter.
Stewardship Committee: This committee plans and coordinates several events throughout the year, including the annual every member canvas. Membership is open to anyone interested in participating in a year-round program of stewardship education. Contact Gary Perkey or Jim Johnson to participate in this ministry.
Vacation Bible School: St. Paul’s and the First Presbyterian Church hold a joint Bible School for ages 3-12. Volunteers are needed to assist with discussion, crafts, snacks, and skits. Items needed for snacks and crafts are publicized in the newsletter and bulletin. Contact SUZANNE MAGOUYRK to volunteer or to donate needed items.
Vestry: The vestry meets monthly. The vestry is concerned with the spiritual and economic life of the parish. New members of the vestry are elected at the annual meeting on the last Sunday in January. Members of the vestry who will be rotating off serve as the Nominating Committee. Confirmed communicants in good standing 18 years or older are eligible to serve. Notice of elections and the names of those on the Nominating Committee are publicized in the bulletin and newsletter.
